The event will begin with a multi-media interactive learning experience touring The Apathy Eﬀect Exhibit, an immersive display of original ﬁlm, photography and artifacts of human traﬃcking survivors from around the world. Following the exhibit tours, local experts on the issue will share and lead discussions on how to engage in the fight against human trafficking. Our speakers will introduce and equip individuals with best practices in prevention, intervention and postvention. The event also includes The Prevention Approach Workshop equipping educators and youth serving professionals with the strategies and tools to identify and prevent youth exploitation. In addition, we will screen Be Relentless which is a documentary ﬁlm highlighting the inspiring journey of human traﬃcking survivor and adventure athlete Norma Bastidas, and she broke the Guinness World Record for longest Triathlon to raise awareness and showcase the incredible resiliency of survivors.
