People/organizations that provide adult services, who are CATE members or are interested in becoming a CATE member.

What:

The Statewide Adult Services Workgroup is a good fit for organizations and/or people who currently provide services that support adult human trafficking survivors. The goal of the Statewide Adult Service Workgroup is to build a long-lasting coordinated partnerships to support human trafficking survivors in a trauma informed and survivor centered approach.

The structure of this meeting will consist of an open session of training or a guest speaker to talk about relevant topics related to the workgroup. The next hour will be structured discussions and activities focusing on identifying goals and objectives for 2023 activities. It is important to have a consistent presence at the workgroup discussions so we can pick up where the last workgroup meeting left off and continue the discuss towards solutions.

If you feel your programs/organization can actively contribute to these discussions and activities this would be a perfect fit for you.

The Statewide Legal Services/Law Enforcement Meeting is restricted to legal services, first responders, and law enforcement officials only. At this meeting we will discuss various topics, and challenges to work towards solutions to better support human trafficking survivors, through a trauma informed and survivor centered approach. During these meetings the first hour will be a trainer or guest speaker that will provide information to assist with some of the challenges you might be facing as a professional. The next hour will be a continuance of the previous meeting to continue working towards solutions to current challenges your field might be facing while serving human trafficking survivors. If you are an active first responder, law enforcement, or legal services official interested in better supporting human trafficking survivors this will be a great fit for you.

Law Enforcement or legal services professionals who are CATE members. Or is interested in becoming a cate member – Just for February.
