The purpose of the legislative workgroup is to come together across a diverse demographic of advocates to discuss current legislative bills, and the priority focus bills for each advocate to identify similar goals and work together to advocate and create a strong, and unified appearance at the capital. The Statewide Legal Services/Law Enforcement Meeting is restricted to legal services, first responders, and law enforcement officials only. At this meeting we will discuss various topics, and challenges to work towards solutions to better support human trafficking survivors, through a trauma informed and survivor centered approach. During these meetings, the first hour will be a trainer or guest speaker that will provide information to assist with some of the challenges you might be facing as a professional. The next hour will be a continuance of the previous meeting to continue working towards solutions to current challenges your field might be facing while serving human trafficking survivors. If you are an active first responder, law enforcement, or legal services official interested in better supporting human trafficking survivors this will be a great fit for you.

Access to programming for human trafficking survivors in Missouri is limited, with only a few programs available statewide. The Survivor Services Workgroup, led by CATE, engages service providers to:
- Stay up to date on committee development
- Share information about existing services for survivors.
- Assist in establishing solutions for the service gaps identified in the MoCATE Needs Assessment
- Foster collaboration to improve survivor access to programming.
- Statewide Networking
