Housing remains a critical need for survivors in Missouri. Shelter options that offer trauma-informed, survivor-centered care are scarce. CATE is engaging statewide collaborators to identify and develop housing solutions tailored to survivors’ needs.
Purpose:

This committee evaluates trafficking training programs from a survivor-centered, trauma-informed perspective. It works to identify training gaps and develop new opportunities to ensure comprehensive education across Missouri. Mental health is a top priority for survivors in Missouri. Barriers include limited access to trauma therapy, substance abuse detox, and behavioral health services. CATE is launching a statewide telehealth program to support survivors in rural areas.

- Identify existing mental health networks and develop coordinated responses.
- Research funding opportunities for collaborative grants within the CATE network.

CATE aims to convene legal service providers and law enforcement collaborators to improve access to legal resources.
