The Statewide Youth Services Workgroup is a good fit for organizations and/or people who currently provide youth services that support youth human trafficking survivors.
The goal of the Statewide Youth Service Workgroup is to build a long-lasting coordinated partnership to support youth human trafficking survivors in a trauma informed and survivor centered approach. At this meeting we will be reintroducing the project ideas from Q4 2022 and discuss additional barriers and challenges for 2023 that impact providing trauma informed and survivor centered services. The purpose of this group is to identify specific and actionable goals for 2023 and the beginnings of a work plan to accomplish their goals over then next year.
The ongoing structure of this meeting will consist of an open session of training or a guest speaker to talk about relevant topics related to the workgroup. The next hour will be a continuance of the previous meeting. It is important to have a consistent presence at the workgroup discussions so we can pick up where the last workgroup meeting left off and continue the discuss towards solutions.

The Statewide Legal Services/Law Enforcement Meeting is restricted to legal services, first responders, and law enforcement officials only. At this meeting we will discuss various topics, and challenges to work towards solutions to better support human trafficking survivors, through a trauma informed and survivor centered approach. During these meetings the first hour will be a trainer or guest speaker that will provide information to assist with some of the challenges you might be facing as a professional. The next hour will be a continuance of the previous meeting to continue working towards solutions to current challenges your field might be facing while serving human trafficking survivors. If you are an active first responder, law enforcement, or legal services official interested in better supporting human trafficking survivors this will be a great fit for you.
